About this artwork
I painted this picture after having to endure hours of noise and crowds in a large museum. The desire to escape to a quiet place, "far from the frenzied crowd," overwhelmed me, and I translated that feeling into this image. Here too, the umbrella pine is present, as it always expresses a human emotion for me.
