About this artwork
With this work I want to wake people up and open their eyes to show that we are still trampling on our environment and our nature. We talk a lot, debate, state facts and write laws, but the will to actually take action is still lacking. The viewer should be confronted with reality and encouraged to act.

I was born in Poland; Stettin, a city full of memories, where I lived through the 70s and early 80s with full awareness. An intense time full of uprisings and new beginnings, full of oppression and repression, but also hope for better times. But unresolved problems, conversations that lead nowhere, drive me to leave my home country. In a situation like this, after fleeing, I have no choice but to find myself again. Despite many fears and negative feelings, I finally feel positive things again, like love, friendship and security. With respect for art in general and painting in particular, I express all feelings in my art. I process thoughts, feelings and impressions that occupy me intensely. I want my art not only to reflect my love of dynamic and aesthetic colors and shapes, but also to initiate thought processes and spark discussions.
