About this artwork
In this work, nature strips away its conventional colors to reveal a dreamlike vision. "Green Sun's Collapse on Rough Sea" captures the hypnotic moment when a bright green sun seems to collapse under its own weight on the horizon, igniting a rough, textured sea.
I worked on the canvas with an almost sculptural approach: the thick brushstrokes and the use of impasto create waves that seem to actually crash before the viewer's gaze. The choice of… a palette dominated by green and lemon yellow tones is intended to evoke a sense of unsettling beauty, a precarious balance between the calm of the sky and the brute force of the ocean. It is not just a landscape, but the representation of a cosmic shift, a work designed for those seeking a contemporary piece capable of radically transforming the energy of an environment.
