About this artwork
This work is not just a physical object, but a provocation on the contemporary art market. Using humble, industrial materials—such as packing tape and raw cardboard—I sealed the work itself, making it a "package" ready for shipping even before it's purchased.
The "€9,000" price tag isn't an external label, but an integral part of the artwork. It's a reflection on the speed of artistic consumption in the digital age: art is created, priced, and… shipped in a constant stream.
Inspired by the traditions of New Realism and Art Brut, 'Ready to Shipment' challenges the collector to own not just a painting, but the act of selling it itself.
