About this artwork
Gifted with a skill and grace of movements that leave human onlookers in open-mouthed awe, the Flame-Born are extremely rare Dryads who appear only to those who posses a level of passion that far exceeds that of the average person.
It is said that that on ocassions, when one of these people gaze long enough into a fire a trance can begin to bewitch them, and if this person continues to allow themselves to be hypnotised by the flickering amber glow… then sometimes, something truly magical can happen.
From the tips of the serpentine flames, where they meet the air a small dragonfly creature may appear. Easily recognisable by the deep orange glowing eyes it bears, this dragonfly born from the flames can choose to transform itself into a beautiful Flameform Dryad.
Drawn to feelings of true burning passion, these spirits have the power to bestow great knowledge and power to those it feels akin to, and will generally choose to become invisible guardians to the lucky person.

Lina Redford is a promising artist currently based in Spain.
She started her artistic journey only few years ago, but already her work have been mentioned in one of the biggest German magazine - The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
Being a creative nomad Lina, over the past 8 years, lived in 5 countries, where she encountered different cultures, impactful people and inspiring scenery, that later became the stories of her artworks.
While finishing her Master’s Degree Lina found guidance and inspiration at the studio of czech based artist - Lana Frey, where she worked and studied for two years.
Lina is always looking for new possibilities and collaborations, one of those is work with recognised Belgian photographer - Eric Ceccarini. The Collaboration of the two artists made it to major art exhibitions and fairs, such as Art Basel in Miami.
Lina works in the style of expressive figurativism, mainly with palette knives and thick layers of paint, to be able to “sculpt happiness”.
