About this artwork
In this work I wanted to capture the movement of the sails like a light dance on the water.
Golden light pierces the sky and reflects on the sea, creating a vibrant surface where color and texture meet. The shapes lean and converge, creating a dynamic balance between wind, space, and rhythm.
I always start from a real observation of the sea, but here I sought a more essential synthesis, letting movement and light guide the composition.
For… me it is a silent dance, where the sea, the wind and the light meet in a suspended moment.
“In color I seek the sea, in all its forms, chasing that light that still escapes.”
Linda Cavallero is an Italian artist.
His research stems from the intersection of painting and contemporary visual culture, influenced by over twenty years of experience in graphic design. His work develops between direct observation and internal exploration.
She paints from life, often at sea, where light, wind, and movement become part of the process. She works with watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media, creating images that combine detail and synthesis.
The sea is the center of his research: not just a landscape, but an emotional space. His works don't describe, but convey. They are traces of light, memory, and perception.
He paints to capture a moment and transform it into something that lasts.
