About this artwork
This painting is an area of New York City (once referred to as New Amsterdam) which is now the area of Wall Street. The main focus of the painting is on Stone Street, one of the oldest streets in New York City. It is full of really old great restaurants and bars. She often went into the city to take photos because she says it's a never ending source of inspiration.
