About this artwork
This piece is made from imagination. The walnut was given to me by a war veteran on a bus, disabled and sometimes having difficulty getting on and off. I helped him, and he gave me a walnut because he had no money. After that, I took a walk in the countryside and found the base of the slingshot. It reminded me of my daughters playing with simple things, but at the same time, the piece resembles a man with his arms open just to pick up.
