About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to celebrate those spontaneous, joyful moments that make life feel rich and full. The clinking of two wine glasses is such a simple gesture, yet it carries warmth, connection, and a sense of celebration. I was inspired by that spark of human connection—how even in the everyday, there’s beauty worth toasting.
The swirling red wine captures movement and emotion, painted with a mix of impressionistic texture and subtle realism.… I used layers of acrylics to give the liquid depth and rhythm, making it feel alive—like it’s dancing mid-air.
What makes this piece truly special is the background: I painted it with metallic pearl acrylics that shift with the light. Depending on where it hangs and how the sun hits it, you’ll see golden, iridescent tones come to life, changing throughout the day. It’s meant to surprise you, much like the little pleasures that catch us off guard in daily life.
