About this artwork
For this commission, I created this piece with passion, blending acrylics and collage to evoke the serenity of a refuge in the heart of nature. I wanted to capture the harmony between Impressionism and Pop Art, conveying a vibrant and soothing energy. Contemplating it, you will feel the tranquility of the mountains and the soft light that bathes this small chalet, inviting you to dream and escape.
Loïc Bruyère, a graduate of the Émile Cohl School in Lyon, works with paint, collage using recycled materials, and acrylics, drawing on his experience as a draftsman and animator. His technique blends Impressionist influences, street art, and animation, where color takes center stage and recycled paper becomes a living canvas. Through each totem animal or vibrant landscape, he infuses strength, energy, and poetry, revealing the invisible and touching the viewer's soul.
