Petricor is an original acrylic work on a 100×100 cm canvas that is born from that unique sensation that only exists when rain falls on hot earth: that smell capable of suddenly transporting you to moments already lived, to emotions stored in some corner of memory.
Through a palette of reds, oranges, and whites applied in successive layers using scraping and textural superimposition techniques, the surface evolves from intensity toward light. The… chromatic density of the upper zone dissolves into increasing luminosity, like clouds that part unexpectedly.
