About this artwork
Trees and biodiversity are vital to our shared future – and this is the theme I explore through a series of abstract interpretations of trees.
In this piece, I worked with acrylics to capture a soft yet vibrant vision of a tree. Each painted dot gathers into whimsical leaves that symbolize nurturing love and peaceful coexistence. The artwork reflects a deep sense of serenity and harmony, bringing a calming yet joyful energy into any space.
I’m proud… to share that this painting has been selected for the juried exhibition by Køge Bugt Art Association and is currently on display alongside other selected artists at Portalen, Greve Music and Culture House. It’s a great honor, and I’m excited to share this journey with you.
A master of collage and mixed media, Lone Gadegaard Dyrby started her artistic journey with drawing and painting since childhood. She commendably blends reality with imagination, using textured backgrounds to provide depth, volume and vitality to her art. Her style swings between figurative and abstract, often incorporating shapes, symbols and aspects of nature. Embedding subtle hints and narratives in her work, Dyrby fosters an enigmatic storytelling realm, evoking waves of contemplation and fascination.
