About this artwork
I created this work to explore the fusion between classicism and vibrant modernity. I use acrylic and colored pencil to paint these traditional musical instruments, intertwining bold color touches that symbolize the energy and passion of music. The statue represents the perpetuity of art through the centuries, while the modern brush strokes vibrate with the incomparable freshness of contemporary creation. This work brings a symphony of history and…
innovation to any environment. The painting is also a tribute to Cremona, my hometown, the city of violins and music. The poetry of music, its history, the smell of wood, the vibrations. Deep, intimate and intense sensations.

« My art is a meditative act. My goal is to seek my elevation by depositing the fruits of my inner work on the canvas. »
Lorenzo Sperzaga is an Italian painter whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level. Inspired by the Baroque, his paintings feature subjects with dramatic expressions, and contain symbolism associated with spiritual themes. He also explores the interplay between light and shadow, and the symbolism inherent in both. Sperzaga's artistic process focuses on the 'emotional condition' and concentration. He creates using oils, enamels, and acrylics on canvas.
