About this artwork
In my work, I poured my heart into painting this fusion of realism and surrealism, using acrylic to capture vintage nostalgia with a contemporary twist. I wanted to explore the fluidity of human movement, suspended between heaven and earth, capturing moments that delicately hang in the balance of life. It brings with it an energy of reflection and elegance, a reminder of suspended beauty that will enrich the space with history and imagination.

Lorenzo Sperzaga is an Italian painter whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level. Inspired by the Baroque, his paintings feature subjects with dramatic expressions, and contain symbolism associated with spiritual themes. He also explores the interplay between light and shadow, and the symbolism inherent in both. Sperzaga's artistic process focuses on the 'emotional condition' and concentration. He creates using oils, enamels, and acrylics on canvas.
