About this artwork
In creating this work, I tried to capture the wild essence of the sea, mixing expressionism and impressionism to evoke a sense of simultaneous strength and tranquility. The use of acrylics allowed me to express the power of the sea in motion, with realistic touches that invite the viewer to feel the freshness of the water and the breath of the wind. The sunset hues instill a sense of peace, offering a contrast to the chaos of the waves, creating… a visual dialogue that speaks of challenges and renewal. This work will bring energy and a deep sense of reflection to your home.
« My art is a meditative act. My goal is to seek my elevation by depositing the fruits of my inner work on the canvas. »
Lorenzo Sperzaga is an Italian painter whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level. Inspired by the Baroque, his paintings feature subjects with dramatic expressions, and contain symbolism associated with spiritual themes. He also explores the interplay between light and shadow, and the symbolism inherent in both. Sperzaga's artistic process focuses on the 'emotional condition' and concentration. He creates using oils, enamels, and acrylics on canvas.
