About this artwork
In this work of mine I married realism and surrealism to immortalize the essence of the sea. I painted the waves with love, capturing their strength and calm, in a dance of colors that brings back the breath of life. Lorenzo Sperzaga is an Italian painter whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level. Inspired by the Baroque, his paintings feature subjects with dramatic expressions, and contain symbolism associated with spiritual themes. He also explores the interplay between light and shadow, and the symbolism inherent in both. Sperzaga's artistic process focuses on the 'emotional condition' and concentration.
