About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the many facets of the self – fragile, complex, and yet vibrant. Using acrylic paints, I played with layers and textures to make visible emotions that often remain hidden. The abstract elements invite you to lose yourself in the colors and lines and discover your own stories. This painting brings energy and depth to any room in which it hangs.

Since her youth, writing has been Louise Lunghards passion—starting at the age of 15 and supported by a scholarship from the Förderkreis Deutscher Autoren. Her studies in psychology over six semesters and her work as a theater pedagogue have shaped her creative perspective. Six years ago, after being diagnosed with MS, she began painting with her left hand. Freely and intuitively, she primarily creates portraits and figures, occasionally venturing into abstract works. Colors are for her a means of expressing liveliness and emotion—they define her artistic signature.
