About this artwork
12th work from the Sinapse series. Dripping with enamel on acrylic background on canvas. Abstract expressionism, without any figurative representation.
Inspirational Theme: As a need to record the past the human being needed to have chronological time, something only possible by the emergence of human consciousness and its power of abstraction, but sometimes I wonder, how we feel and relate to it. How the days seem short with the everyday occupying… our days in an indelible and subtle way. There are so many ways of life for whom time doesn't pass, it simply doesn't exist. You have to speed it up to see a coral mutate and this is a work that tries to interpret that process, it is an abstraction for a time lapse of life on a coral reef.
« I want to be able to recreate not what I see, but what I feel, because the essential is invisible to the eyes. »
