About this artwork
Luis used as inspiration for this painting the enchanting figure of the famous contemporary cellist Stjepan Hauser. With brusque and expressive gestures and the use of warm colors like red and orange over very dark tones, the artist created the perfect setting for a cello encore where in the central figure in white and turquoise-green and in great contrast the cellist presented us with a sweeping musical performance.
