About this artwork
"The journey"
It is a semi-abstract work that appeals to the observer's senses, deconstructing reality through imagination. Created in acrylic with spatula on canvas and based on the migration of birds that make seasonal change the key to their survival, the artist also constantly does it through his art, in search of the maximum expression of his essence he migrates between the imaginary, his palette and his work. The abstract forms in blue and… green create a great contrast with the faded background thus suggesting a separation between matter and what is ethereal, the application of the forms in a left, right direction drags the observer into an illusion of movement in that direction.
« I want to be able to recreate not what I see, but what I feel, because the essential is invisible to the eyes. »
