Floating is a series of artwork that explore illusion, colors and relationship between empy and filled space.
Several layers of colors are needed to obtain a atmospheric and radiant colors that evoke illusion of 3 dimension, and light effect.
Floating is the outcome of many years of experiments and from life painting about light effects.
In this piece, I explore the essence of tranquility and disruption, using a serene blue canvas interrupted by… a bold, isolated pink streak. This contrast is meant to invoke a reflection on stillness and the sudden intrusions in life, encouraging the viewer to find beauty in unexpected changes. The calm, expansive blue invites introspection, while the pink challenges one to find balance. This artwork will bring a dynamic, thoughtful energy into any space.

Luca Raimondi is a passionate Italian painter with international exposure and gallery representation.
