About this artwork
In this oil painting, I captured the power and relentless movement of the stormy sea. The impressionistic brushstrokes convey the vivid energy of the waves and the overwhelming force of nature. I wanted the viewer to feel the emotion of the turbulent sky and the life-giving force of the water, bringing a sense of wild and dynamic energy into their home. The work won First Prize at the Antonio Ligabue Competition in Orvieto - 2021
