About this artwork
In the work, I reflect on the condition of contemporary humanity: exposed to vast immensities (cosmic, technological, cognitive) yet unable to integrate them. The astronaut is one who has seen too much to return to being human; the world appears emptied to him. He is an almost prophetic figure, but without a clear revelation to convey to those who long for answers.
