About this artwork
In creating this work, I tried to capture the effervescence of spring, creating a material base in relief of ceramic plaster, painted with transparent bright enamel, in a vortex of abstract and expressionist colors. The shades of blue, pink and purple symbolize through the Spring Moons, a continuous rebirth, evoking sensations of freshness and new life. It is an invitation to immerse yourself in a universe of infinite possibilities, bringing lively… and regenerating energy into your home.
Lucia Luce, a self-taught artist, masters mediums such as chalk pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and enamels, expressing herself on paper, canvas, and wood panel. Her painting style ranges from expressionist to abstract, using techniques such as wet-on-wet, glazing, and relief painting with ceramic pastes, enamels, and metallic pigments. She explores her creativity by working with materials such as ceramic, glass chips, mirrors, and resin, creating decorative design pieces. Her works, capturing light and emotion, awaken an intense dialogue with beauty. With intense, contrasting colors, she creates female faces emphasized by emotions, almost dissolving the forms in color to express their evanescent interiority, abstracting them with energetic brushstrokes, thus expressing her feelings.
