About this artwork
I became interested in mixing pigments, photographic techniques, blur, movement, and light in an attempt to find Yves Klein’s blue within nature itself.
Photography does not always return the colors the eye and the body experience.
Certain blues exist somewhere between atmosphere and material — impossible to fully capture, unstable, almost immaterial.
The birds move through the images… like traces rather than fixed subjects.
I was not interested in perfect documentation, but in the moment an image begins to dissolve into light, distance, and perception.
The title references Yves Klein not as homage, but as a search.
A search for a blue suspended in sky, air, memory, and movement.
These works exist between image and disappearance, between what can be seen and what escapes visibility.
“Art and nature share the same silence.”
