About this artwork
In this sculpture, I wanted to capture a deep and harmonious bond between two beings, expressing the strength and delicacy of their relationship through the contrast between wood and metal. Every curve and detail conveys love and protection, emitting a warm and intense vibration that will fill any space with emotion and grace. This work is a visual embrace, a meeting of sensitivity and strength.

Luciano De Barba lives in Limana in the province of Belluno in the heart of the Dolomites. His sculptural training began in 2004, and his artistic adventure began with his first sculpture competition in 2006.
She experiments with different techniques, ranging from figurative to abstract and stylized, alternating smooth and rough surfaces, using rocks and pebbles as bases, and employing color and burn details. Her works evoke lightness, elegance, and delicacy, conveying a profound emotion inspired by nature and its nuances.
Wood, in its various essences, remains the preferred material, but clay also plays an important role in the search for new intertwined and imprisoned harmonies, in perfecting new dictates, in wooden sculpture, thus embracing the origins of the universe. Air, earth, water, and fire, elements from which he draws memory and structure.
