About this artwork
Concept: Created by stitching together five discarded, experimental canvases. Driven by a passion for recycling, I transformed "waste" into a purposeful installation, leaving the raw seams exposed to reveal the construction.
Tension: A continuous thread runs through the composition, binding the fragments and keeping the piece in tension. Deliberate rips show that strength does not need to be perfect to be real.Symbolism: Features my three recurring… motifs—the woman, the tiger, and flowers. Gold leaf highlights appear only on the woman’s face and in the tiger’s eyes, symbolizing shared intuition.
Installation: Hangs from an organic bamboo stick. Instead of a traditional frame, two lightweight stones are suspended at different heights, using gravity to ground the artwork.
