I painted this painting as a gift, a reminder of warm evenings by the sea, where time seems to slow down and the air is filled with the soft light of sunset.
I wanted to capture that quiet, golden moment when the sun is low, the sky turns soft pink and blue, and the ocean becomes calm and endless. The empty bench under the palm tree seems to invite you to sit, breathe,… and simply be here and now.
While working on this painting, I thought about warmth, peace, and those special places that remain in our hearts. The delicate colors and soft light create a feeling of comfort and nostalgia, like a memory you want to return to again and again.
I really want it to bring comfort and a sense of joy, reminiscing about warm memories of a vacation in Phuket.
