About this artwork
After a long trip to India, where I took many photographs: temples, symbols, and people are my favorite subjects. Reviewing all the images at home, I chose the photograph of the pensive girl to make a painting.
In this work, I wanted to capture the inner stillness of a woman enveloped in a vortex of colors and geometric shapes inspired by Eastern art. The blend of acrylic and oil creates a vibrant contrast between the softness of the figure and… the energy of the contours, evoking profound emotions of introspection and harmony. This piece brings an intense and meditative presence to any space.
