About this artwork
This work is part of my series entitled: Fragmented Humanity.
I initially used acrylic and then to accentuate the features and parts of the fragmented faces I used oil pastels. I chose my favorite colors which are blue and red, with touches of bright colors. I wanted to represent abstract faces in fragments, they seem to float in the air. Each face has its own identity but they are connected to the others, to the point of merging.
