About this artwork
In this reinterpretation of a self-portrait by Van Gogh, I ventured to explore what I could achieve using only natural earths, without resorting to pigments or paints. My goal was to capture the artist's brushstrokes through earthy tones and swirling movements, hallmark characteristics of the Impressionist style. By looking directly at the observer, I invite them to dive into the complexities of the emotions and thoughts that emerge from this expression.…
