This original acrylic painting (100 × 70 cm) captures a dramatic water landscape where a fragile paper boat drifts through a rushing shallow stream illuminated by fragments of sunset light.
Inspired by the atmospheric traditions of Turner and Monet, the artwork blends impressionistic brushwork with elements of contemporary expressive abstraction. Soft sweeping strokes describe the movement of water as it flows across the canvas, reflecting shimmering… gold and pale blue highlights that flicker across the surface.
At the center of the composition, the delicate paper boat moves through the restless current, becoming a poetic symbol of fragility, memory, and quiet resilience. The surrounding water glows with warm amber reflections while distant shoreline silhouettes dissolve into mist along the horizon.
