About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the vibrant and fresh essence of spring, playing with textures and shades of blue and green. I used acrylic to convey energy and movement, as if nature were sprouting and renewing itself before your eyes. Having it in your home will give you an atmosphere of calm and hope that inspires you to reinvent yourself and enjoy every moment to the fullest.
Mónica Cecilia Andina Alegría is a Chilean-born painter who has lived in Europe for more than half her life. A self-taught artist, she has enriched her skills through books, workshops, and constant experimentation with professional materials. After more than 15 years of hiatus, she returns to painting in mid-2023. Her techniques range from fluid art to palette knife painting, combining modern and abstract styles, guided by her exploration of color and current trends. Her works convey the beauty and uncertainty of the creative process, evoking feelings of surprise, satisfaction, and even frustration, reflecting the authentic artistic experience.
