About this artwork
I made this oil painting with the light of a summer morning shining through the forest. I love to be out early in the morning to find my motifs. With a sketchpad in hand and a thermos of coffee, I set out to find the perfect motifs. The Nordic light on a summer morning gives me the perfect feeling for my subjects. I often come home with the sketch pad full of new motifs.
