About this artwork
The sun sets over the Tor hill in Glastonbury. The sky is glowing from my use of transparent earth pigments that capture the magic of this amazing place. The dark hill and tower makes a dramatic contrast to the light in the sky, just as "darker" areas of our life can make the light in us stand out more. The Light that we all carry within that wants to shine, and guide us on our path. What is the light in your life? What gives you joy?
This is inspired… from a photo by Michelle Cowbourne with her permission.

"The selection presented here clearly demonstrates the artists versatility and plurality of techniques. It seems the artist is more than comfortable with different kinds of paint and medium. From the wide variety of artworks presented here, it very clear the artists is very experienced in a wide array of techniques and can both explore abstraction and figuration." from portfolio review by Camille Lacaze at Skarstedt Gallery
