About this artwork
In this vibrant piece, I poured my passion into capturing the lively spirit of nature through bold, expressive colors and dynamic brushstrokes. The energetic interplay of light and shadow invites you to feel the warmth and life of the grove. Bringing this home will infuse your space with joy, movement, and a vivid sense of connection to the natural world.
Olive grove Toccata, 2020.
Depicting olive trees with their gnarled trunks and vivid leaves… in shades of blue, green, orange and yellow, this painting is the last addition to my orchard series.
Most of my artworks are interconnected with a single theme emigrating from one painting to another in a same movement flow. This acrylic painting is no exception. It is derived from other works on paper and canvas and is part of my orchard series.
Some colours may vary depending on the light exposure and the monitor settings. The artwork is unframed and painted on the sides.
Maja Grecic is a Serbian painter recognized for her evocative abstract works, grounded in rigorous training at the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She masterfully weaves expressive semi-abstract impressionism and intimism, melding influences of Fauvism, Impressionism, and Post-Impressionism, with a vibrant, organic use of color that animates both form and atmosphere. Her paintings pulse with the dynamic interplay of warm and cold hues, surfaces, and lines, capturing harmony akin to a symphonic crescendo. Through her art, she invites viewers into a world of profound emotion, spiritual connection, and the eternity woven between nature and memory.
