About this artwork
In Infinite Embrace (framed 64x64x4cm), spiral paths coalesce into a powerful pull that draws the gaze downwards – into the center of a silent yet intense movement. The composition no longer appears merely circular, but directed inwards: a diving, a surrender to gravity and intimacy.
Golden, ochre, rose, and cobalt blue tones emerge from the dark depths and layer upon one another. The relief-like, sculptural surface intensifies this impression:… elevations, fine edges, foam-like cells, and flowing transitions make the spiral physically tangible. Light clings to the metallic pigments, travels across the structures, and disappears again—the image changes with the viewer's perspective.
The embrace suggested by the title is not a gentle gesture, but an intense process of attraction, pressure, and transformation.
