About this artwork
"Soul Mirror" is thick, grungy, daring and intriguing. The soft colors contrast the black marks and the graffiti style writing. The artist reflects on the fact that you can make your own rules. Don't follow the formula, make your own formulas!! There is also a french warning sign glazed in the middle- this lifestyle isn't for all, but it's highly recommended.

« The universe gifted me a French edge, a Californian dream and some hot boiling Afghan blood and I channel it through my art. »
Manaz Raiszadeh is an artist based in France whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in the United States. Referring to herself as an "intuitionist abstract painter", the genesis of her artistic inspiration comes from her parent's tale and her Afghani cultural background. Raiszadeh often depicts houses and villages in her compositions, as she believes that "we can all relate to the place where we are from". She creates using acrylics, pastels, and collage on canvas or wood.
