About this artwork
This work is probably the most complex ever made by Manuel Di Chiara on the cargo theme. Infinite are the details reproduced on canvas of a Hamburg port scene. The scene shows a ship of the "Hamburg Süd" moored at a pier, during loading/unloading operations. The background is made up of numerous cranes and every construction detail of the various subjects has been well represented. Work of great technical/pictorial value also considering the perspective…

From a chromatic point of view, the composition is well balanced considering the use of oranges and therefore of warm tones alternating with the various blues/celestials that complete the work. The format chosen is the panoramic one of a 240x130 cm suitable for modern settings with an industrial touch.
