The intense colors and emotive brushstrokes embody a deep longing and strength intended to inspire viewers and fill their living spaces with energy. To mark International Women's Day on March 8, I decided to paint a very well-known and inspiring woman. She is one of the most famous painters of her time, not least because of her personal life story.

Manuela Rathje is an experienced artist from Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally.
