About this artwork
Hope- bedeutet Hoffnung. Vielleicht denkt der kleine Leopard darüber nach, ob er de Chance bekommt einmal eine wunderschöne große Wildkatze zu werden.
Tiere brauchen eine Stimme, deshalb setzte ich mich für den Erhalt der gefährdeten Wildtierarten ein.
Immer noch gibt es Trophäenjäger, viele Tiere fallen jedes Jahr diesen zum Ofer. Ganze Bestände werden ausgerottet, damit der Mensch sich zur Schau stellen kann.
Mit meiner Kunst mache ich auf diese… Missstände aufmerksam , um Menschen dafür zu sensibilisieren mit dem Tier als Individuum respektvoller umzugehen und die Arten auch für nachfolgenden Generationen zu behüten. Future for wildlife

Manuela Rathje is an experienced artist from Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally. After practicing drawing for awhile, Rathje decided to become a painter, focusing on portraits of both people and animals in bright color palettes. Working in acrylic on canvas, she represents her subjects as individuals with their own unique spirits, capturing their emotions and mood.
