About this artwork
Sweet Current is a serene and whimsical composition centered within a soft peach-hued circle set against a muted beige background. Flowing lines, resembling vines or gentle currents, weave organically through the space, interlaced with stylized leaves and abstract forms. The minimalist palette and fluid design evoke a sense of gentle movement and natural harmony, as if capturing a fleeting moment of life suspended in quiet motion. The artwork invites… viewers to reflect on growth, flow, and the delicate interconnection of nature.

Mara Bonofiglio is a visual artist whose vibrant, figurative painting explores the evolving state of humanity and its deep connection to nature and universal energy. Born in Turin in 1985, she studied at the local Art Institute and later completed a Master’s in Styling and Photography at IED Milan, working in London with fashion houses like Etro and Burberry, while also studying at Central Saint Martins. A transformative period led her to explore practices aimed at restoring the human being in its totality—body, mind, and spirit as one, in constant connection with the environment and universal energy. She delved into metaphysics, subconscious reprogramming, and bio-informational systems. Art is not only aesthetic, but a tool for awakening. Her painting expresses visions of beauty and inner truth, reflecting humanity’s shift from fragmented perception to unified consciousness, where we recognize ourselves as part of a greater natural and cosmic order.
