About this artwork
This work is inspired by the nature of Africa – by earth, light and origin.
I work with natural materials such as sand, fibers and dried plants, which I combine with gold to make the connection between earth and light tangible.
During the painting process, I felt as if the African earth itself was speaking through my hands – raw, vibrant and full of warmth.
The golden layers represent the light that finds its way even in the roughest structures.…
Part of my art supports educational projects in Kenya. This work therefore carries not only aesthetic but also spiritual significance – it represents connection, hope, and shared radiance across continents.
