About this artwork
In this work, I played with intense colors and contrasts to create a powerful, almost satirical mood. The painting embodies the tension between instinct and power, coupled with a critical reflection on social roles. The combination of acrylic and spray paint gives the image a vibrant dynamic that fills any space with energy and thoughtfulness. It invites us to question the boundaries between humans and nature.
Marcell Dergecz is a self-taught artist who, remarkably, only began painting in 2022 despite having autism. With dynamic brushstrokes and intense acrylic colors, he creates expressive works, primarily in the realms of animal and abstract art. His art is a form of therapy for him, a way to find freedom and overcome his limitations. Through his vibrant paintings, he conveys positive emotions and a zest for life. Marcell is a contemporary artist whose works explore power, identity, and human behavior through strong, anthropomorphic figures. His art combines modern, luxurious aesthetics with psychological depth, creating works that not only decorate but also define spaces.
