About this artwork
A bright landscape of my homeland covered in snow, the majestic south face of Resegone stands out on the horizon against the soft tones of the snowy ground, the first morning light embrace the hill of Montevecchia making the small sanctuary on the top shine.
The impressionist landscape was my first love in art and today I occasionally paint scenes of the Brianza hills, particularly the Montevecchia hill and the Resegone with a lucky perspective… that I appreciate every time I take a short walk behind my house.
This painting is based on a series of photos that I shot in 2007, sadly we don't have a real snowfall here in the last 10 years, so the title on the painting: Once upon a time"..

Marco Busoni is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and France.
