In "Dadì dado digitale," the artist performs an act of analog resistance against the evanescence of the virtual age. Through the use of sheet steel—a material whose weight and consistency counteract the volatility of the cloud—the work captures binary code in a material prison. The sequence of 0s and 1s, here stripped of any algorithmic function and rendered purely aesthetic, becomes a contemporary epigraph. It is the visceral attempt of an "analog… man" to give substance and a limit to an overabundant immateriality, transforming digital noise into a monumental and tactile silence.
Marco Ceraglia, coming from a photographic background, creates as a contemporary artist using mainly the materials of Arte Povera, with a focus on metal. His style combines the canons of conceptual art and the Dada movement, producing works carved into metal plates, characterized by significant wordplay. His works demonstrate a discreet discomfort towards the pervasive digital revolution, expressing themselves through a strongly analogue practice.
