Iron Dome, as is well known, refers to Israel's missile defense shield, as well as "skyshields" of any kind, which are based on the same idea of protection against foreign violence.
The object “Iron Dome, daily” is a symbol of the daily rethinking of the causes of that or a similar model of defense against evil, including the consequences of violence for human existence, leading to their sublimation.
This object was created in 1992 (exhibition:… “Vienna in the Field”, Theseus Temple, Vienna 1992), matured like good wine and was placed in the position: bottom up in an inner courtyard in 2025 and added as an independent, new work to the series “Pure Being” in 2025.
It is and was part of the original object "Cathartic Basin" and represents its basic form, embodying the daily realization of this existential question concerning all of humanity, namely how to overcome aggression and violence.
