Oil, cold wax and mixed media painting on cradled birch wood panel with painted edges and matte finish. The painting is ready to hang. In this piece Lypiridou works with layers upon layers of oil, wax, a variety of crayons and cloth stencils, scraping and re-applying paint multiple times, constantly revealing and concealing parts of the painting in order to create depth, history and visual and spatial interactions between its different elements.
