About this artwork
This piece complements Ardea cocoi 2, and although they can be hung individually, they work beautifully together. In this expressive work, I wanted to capture the elegance and serenity of this bird with vibrant strokes and intense colors. I used acrylic paint to bring its forms to life and convey a vibrant energy that invites calm and a connection with nature. Having it in your home will create an aura of tranquility and depth that fills the space… with that unique and expressive touch.
Maria Alejandra Hernandez uses painting as her primary medium, supported by a solid education at the Luján School of Art and significant participation in group exhibitions. Her technique encompasses contemporary expressionism, with a Fauvist influence thanks to the vibrancy of her colors and her emotionally charged execution. Her works explore the relationship between nature and the role of women, conveying nostalgia and evoking profound memories, as well as paying homage to simple living and the preservation of what is essential.
