About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the essence of feminine energy as I perceive it – the gentle, passionate, creative, enveloping energy that flows and pulsates subtly. The fluid forms and vibrant colors combine metaphysics, minimalism, and primitivism into a harmonious effect. It brings a dynamic calm to your space, invites reflection and feeling, and connects intuition with the universe.
Maria Heinrich has been fascinated by the tactile, tangible world of artistic creation since her earliest days. Even as a child, she was drawn to the thick, textured materials of oil painting, which she admired both at home and in museums. However, since she only had access to delicate watercolors, she simply invented her own world of texture: she began "painting" with colored modeling clay on cardboard, thus creating her first three-dimensional artworks. This early intuition became the seed of her later artistic style. Her path was shaped by academic curiosity and international experiences gained through humanities studies and professional positions in various countries. However, she found true artistic fulfillment and the ultimate discovery of her voice in returning to her origins – to that intuitive "invention" from her childhood. Her art is a statement of authenticity.
